Poorboys — Restaurant in Gauteng

It is difficult to describe and put into words the disappointment experienced with this establishment. Everything from the food, the pricing and the portions.

Bacon and Cheese Burger, running at a whopping 63 bucks, with a measly single piece of shoulder bacon, and what seems to be frozen store bought beef patties. Subpar and expensive

The only thing worth mentioning to get would be the rib and wings combo, or the curry. Everything other than that, from my personal stand point was tasteless and barely passed as food.

At 22 bucks for chocolate mouse portion that was grainy and split you would rather take a deep breathe, it would have gone down better. Rather buy proper desserts from Woolworths, heck even a McDonald' ice cream cone would have tasted like something worth eating...

What a disappointment . Trully shocking bad service ... Extremely bad attitude from the driver that gave me my food wrong and that i gave him an extra trip to get my food right amd tells me im an inconvenience to him . Phoned 4 times only to be told my food is on the way and to phone again a hour later to be told oh no the driver didnt answer his phone so my food did not pitch for atleast 1hour 30 min . Finaly when my food came it was like serving me ice for my food is ice cold and tasteless . 3rd this esstablishment is really pathetic to put it nice its a disapointment to the poorboys name and franchise. Sorry i dont dont the whole review things but this is the cherry on top on food service very incompetent!! Sad to say poorboys in general lost a couple of customers...

When we moved to Sinoville a little more than a year ago we ordered a lot from Poorboys. We still do. The atmosphere is good, the service is fast and excellent and the food is delicious. I love the chicken snitchels with the veggies, I always order that these days. The price is very very good for the amount of food you receive as well as the taste. It is simple amazing. Even my toddler who is very picky, loves their food. We will always recommend this place to everyone as long as it is how it is today. Good job guys and girls. Ps. I LOVE the cheesecake as well.
