Roman's Pizza Mayville — Restaurant in Gauteng

I have mixed feelings about this place. As a regular customer I have purchased pizza from this establishment many times. The issue is consistency. I recall once placing an order online and paying for it, arriving 10min later than the recommended wait time, only to figure out the order was never sent through to the kitchen. This fact I had to deduce on my own, as none of the front of house staff would admit to the order not being forwarded to the kitchen. I then proceeded to wait another hour before my pizza (this was already almost two hours after I placed the order) was finally ready. On the flip side, I have had pleasant experiences as well.

Not only do we love the service that we receive from this branch. We ordered Pizza Friday night, we didn't wait too long, but as I can imagine that everyone else prefers this branch as well, it was kinda busy. We collected our pizza and only when we got home we realized that we have lost my bf's wallet. On the way back to the store, I phoned to ask if they could have a look by the table we were sitting, and sure enough she found it. Ordered margarita pizza, swapped it with smokey bbq base and with riblet toppings. What I got back was the oregano deluxe with extra grease...seriously every single bite was filled with oregano and garlic? Unsure whether garlic is part of the oregano but that doesn't change the fact that my pizza's main ingredient became oregano. For the past 2 years the service, quality of food and basically just everything else went to poo. Sometimes (but not often) the food is actually ready on time and somewhat edible.
