One of a few great places for Sushi / Chinese / Japanese / Tai food. Food is good at this place. You can sit and eat or order for take away. The Sushi "eat as much as you can" is good but expensive. The Chowmeins are my favourite and the Chicken Spring rolls. Not really kid friendly. Better for date nights or just a Ma & Pa outing.

Michael, our waiter, thanks for your great service! Unfortunately the owner/manager decided to lock up while we were still finishing our drinks. This is very unprofessional. It was only 21:10. The website & their doors state they close at 21:30. Not very impressed. You won’t see us again!

Was hesitant in trying the sushi from any place different from my regular places, however I was pleasantly surprised with Tataki Park Rand. This was some of the best sushi I have had this year. Fresh, delicious and value for money. Definitely coming back soon.

I would just like to say that tataki is definitely going down hill and is not the place we always knew is as the waiters we on top notch yes they got a bit busy but they still managed to communicate a bit better with their customers....as for the chefs or the people cooking and making the sushi that is where the problem lies...tonight my experience was not to my approval as I'm very disappointed. Another customer sitting at the conveyer belt had to directly speak to the one gentleman working the station and yelled at him for service and expressed himself in such a manner that I think everybody was feeling the same. He also complained about more than 5 tables waiting up to 40min for one plate of sushi not a full order literally 1 plate of sushi then also the fact that 2 couples left roughly the same time after one another and said to their waiters that they had been sitting there for 2 hours and received no service. This should honestly be a wake up call for the manager or the owner that tataki is not the same that it was 6 months ago and that's a short period of time for such Amazing restaurant to become such a low class place . Reading all the past reviews also should be a wake up call so please take it into consideration and fix...

We have been to a few of the tataki branch’s and this was not our favorite still did amazing. They didn’t have the perfect evening but under the circumstances ( Valentine’s Day) they chefs and staff did their best to help to keep everyone happy . I want to say this , the lady in the pink cap and pink scarf throw over aka Karen , driving a black mini copper with neon pink stickers on the back . Walked out on a R601 bill and kept making a scene for the restaurant to watch and making the waitress cry . All those staff members work hard everyday making an honestly living and the tips they get are helping with a week to week salary ,which people like Karen are too selfish to just pay the bill and never go back to the restaurant. Don’t walk out not paying your bill. Cause those people suffer . Rather pay your bill and don’t leave a tip and never go back . I take my hat off to the all the staff and chefs and managers. Tataki Boksburg you guys did great and you guys...

I just phoned these guys to confirm their closing time. I spoke to Gift. Although the google times say they close at 21:30 on a Thursday, they told me that when it's not busy they close at 8. So I asked Gift that if it's only me and my 3 daughters and they see that it's not busy will they then ask me to leave. His answer was yes, they then tell the customers that they will be closing at 8.

So imagine: I get off work at 5. pick up my kids at 5:45 in Witfield. Navigate through the traffic and get there at maybe 06:30. Order drinks, order our first round of Sushi (eat all you can option), which they will probably have to make as they are not busy and won't have all the options available. Then while we decide what we want next I am told that we have to finish up, they close at 20:00. Kinda bad management I think.

I will NEVER visit...
