We called ahead as they were about to close and they waited for us (great) then went in to put my orders in and their menu had changed only had a selected menu ordered 2 burgers chicken tenders and chillies cheese fries. They didn't let me know that they had run out of ingredients we waited 30 mins for our food only to be told that they didn't have some of the ingredients while handing out our food so naturally I figured they substituted ingredients that they didn't have with something they had BUT BOY WAS I WRONG MY BACON AND CHILLI FRIES NO BACON JUST CHILI FRIES the least they could do was put down a cheese sauce or something nope nothing, same thing with the burgers and chicken tenders/ strips no substitution they just let us go without😞😭 really good food still but still feel like I didn't get my monies worth at all especially considering that I bought food to the value of R400 if not a little more and drove all the way from...

It seems like yesterday when Brian Modipa founder of Burger Yard first mentioned that he was in culinary school to finally graduating and being in between jobs and sometimes bumping into each other at Noord Taxi Rank. If memory serves me right he was inspired by the likes of Jamie Oliver (I stand to be corrected)... And I have had the privilege of seeing him prepare pasta shells from scratch, that lunch meal remains embedded in my collection of great lessons, ever so grateful for it.

Fast-forward to December 2020, the talent and hard work brought Vosloorus a mouth watering experience. My experience with local businesses haven't been great thus far and unfortunately this is one of the local businesses I would have loved to support but won't be supporting anymore. I called to find out how much it is for them to deliver in Boksburg and they said no they don't deliver in Boksburg because it is too far so I asked why they are advertising falsely on their socials because according to their socials they do deliver in Boksburg.
