I never complain about restaurants, but after the service I received this weekend, I felt the need to let you know. The service is going from bad to worse over this past year.
Over the past weekend I stopped at Wimpy to buy my family food and was appalled at how bad the service has become at this Wimpy Branch. I stopped there at 7 in the morning. After ordering the cashier could not even find the card machine for me to pay, then I stood behind a Car in the que at the collection window for between 30 to 40 minutes, whilst they were just sitting in the car drinking beer, and it did not even seem like they were waiting for food as absolutely nothing was happening at the window. They were just parked there. Eventually I reversed back to the pay window to find out what was happening, where I waited another 10 mins with no service or anyone at the window at all. I eventually gave up and reversed out and left without any order. The other day I got home and my burger had no bun on top.. only the bottom. The last waffles where dry and hard. I have also had missing items in the past. just all round it is getting bad.

Read moreWords do not describe what i witnessed today. A (elderly lady) manager reprimanding staff right in front of customers. The bickering echoed throughout our experience. We waited about 55 min to receive our bill. No communication to customers about what is going on. Aparently they started a new system which gave them problems. Why is there no contingency plan if something goes wrong with a new system? Back to basics write the prices down what they ordered and do manual transactions. You are in the hospitality industry its fast paced, you need to be professional at all times, as a hotelier we sort out problems fast and efficient without shouting at staff infront of customers. Overall the waiter seemed to be scared to fetch our plates because she knew we would ask for the bill. Please get more card machines. The atmosphere changed drastically and we could feel the vibe coming from the waiters. Overall this was a terrible experience. The waiter portia tried her best, but seemed absent for most of the time...
Read moreThe worst service ever in my lifetime. The attitude of Hendry supposedly the Floor Manager was appalling. The waitress and another Manager were clueless to say the least. I was forced to pay for what was supposed to be an omelette and had the inner ingredients raw,cold and scattered with a tablespoon of grated cheese that could not hold the ingredients together and Hendry had the audacity to tell me not to come to the store again. The condition of the toilets is a typical squalor. I ordered my second dish as l was coming from hospital and desperately needed to eat something and the so called burgers were a mockery of the dish. I will certainly honour your invitation of not visiting your eatery again not because you said it but for the upkeep of my health, principles and values, l will not even support your garage business after noticing that both entities are using the same holding company name and will encourage people to desist from supporting that...
