Nice vibe, staff friendly, food ok. Smoking and non smoking areas are poorly defined. The main area is a Bedouin tent with open sides, this is the non smoking area, everything not under the tent is a smoking area. So we ended up 1 meter away from tables next to us that we’re smoking. This is like having a peeing area in a pool! In this case the non smoking section are the tables in the center surrounded by smoking tables, not to the side and not only on one side no separation , so no matter how the wind blows you get to experience the fragrance of second hand smoke. I choose not to subject my kids to this. Now I have no problem with people smoking it is their right, however sitting in this setting having dinner when the smoke physically makes one feel ill is simply not on? DONT GIVE PATRONS THE OPTION OF NON SMOKING SEATING IF YOU CAN NOT OFFER IT!!! Left the New Year’s Eve function before the countdown as for us it was unbearable, nor should we have been placed in this...
Read moreEverything was perfect until we finished our mains. The kalamari strips were delicious, so is the burger, pasta, pizza and the steak de paris. After, they started cleaning the table but stopped mid way and forgot about us, after 15 min our waiter finally came back to us (after I raised my hand for some time) and we asked her for the dessert menu, we ordered the chocolate focaccia - was very disappointing, very thin dough and liquid chocolate and not in a good way, also ordered the cream brûlée- was good but they absolutely burned the sugar way too much, it was so burnt that we just removed the sugar. I am giving 4 star because the starter and the main dishes we ate were amazing, something with the service and the food just went wrong after we finished eating. We did not complain and maybe we should have but it was so hard to be noticed and we were pretty tired so we just paid...
Read moreIt's a restaurant with a rather noisy pub next door. Decor was ok as restaurants go. Our waitron was lovely with a good sense of humor and was happy to go ask the chef about our questions. In all, the food was below par. My partner had the veggie soup. It was just that - veggie soup. I had the garlic Prawns. I'm still looking for the garlic. 🤔 rather an insipid dish covered in melted cheese. I'm pretty sure a butter substitute was used. Served with old toast. Nothing to write home about. We shared the 6 dumplings. I can honestly say the spinach and feta dumplings were amazing. Mains - partner had the pork belly. Um, it was two pork rashers with a shop bought marinade. The leftovers are still sitting in my fridge. I had the prawn Thai. Again shop bought marinade. Some prawns and spaghetti with a Poppadum. So overall, the food was underwhelming. Personally I...
