Absolutely disgusting service by your drive through staff today. I took my daughter for a meal after her doctor appointment... The menu at the entrance to the drive through clearly shows a regular Big Mac meal at R59.90 yet when I arrive at the cashier window I am told to pay R64.90. Phindile tells me she received a notification of a price increase this morning and that there is nothing she can do about the price. I was only carrying R60.00 on me so requested to talk to the manager. Kwanele then tells me that the price on the menu at the entrance has not been changed yet and there is nothing he can do about it. After handing him the R60.00 he tells me to pay a further R4.90 which I tell him I do not have. Kwanele then tells me he will cancel my order and I must go and buy food elsewhere as the cars behind me are waiting for their food. I was forced to take money out of my daughter's pocket-money wallet to pay for her food. I've never been so embarrassed. I work a stones throw from this restaurant and will certainly never be using again or any of my colleagues. This is disgusting service from a franchised restaurant who supposed to pride themselves on customer service. Read moreThis place lacks customer service even from there 'so-called' manager ..clearly they feel as though they are a direct mcdonalds store that they can behave as if they don't care.. i had to wait in the drive through with a GMA code and when I got to the window they lady had said I must go to the next ..yet she told me on the speaker to come through to her after I told her my situation about the GMA's that I had .. so i go to the next window which is closed and go further after a minute or two to the last window ..the rude lady there says I gota go back because theres no order to fetch here and she cant assist with my order there..i requested the manager ..who clearly has no people skills ..n lacks the drive and problem solving ability yet makes up for all that in his rude and insulting demeanor if thats what the managers main qualities should portray .. i had then left that establishment starvatious and now more angry than before to the best mcdonalds to date .. McDonalds Broadway in Durban North ..which I was told is a franchise yet they are the best and I will never forget the great service ..still hot meals and the unmatchable environment they serve to you as a loyal patron .. Read moreGot to McDonald's Redhill on 04/09/2021, the branch was quite with approximately 3 cars in your drive threw.
I walked in to the branch, staff was chilled, chatting, going about their business. Then proceeded to get a Coffee and a Chilli Cheese Double Burger, I made sure to be clear to the staff member attending to me of my order. After a few minutes I received my order and processed to leave.
On my way to my destination I decided to take a bite only to find out that I've been given a regular cheese burger filled up with tamato sauce but been charged for exactly what I've ordered!
Mistakes can be made if the branch is really busy that I do understand but in this situation it was not the case and unfortunately this is not the first time it has happened to me and I am rather tired of the lack of service that your branch offers with staff that's more interested in laughing and talking to each other rather then paying attention to a customer's order which in every case so far I've been changed for what I've ordered but been given the wrong order which generally costs less.
Gets me thinking if you train your staff to deliberately do this so you guys can make extra cash or are the staff there just so unqualified to do their jobs that messing up for them is a normal thing in...
