Subject: Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Service Dear Owners of Ocean Basket I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service received at your establishment. On Sunday 25 Aug, we placed a takeaway order and were informed it would take approximately 25 minutes to prepare. We paid in full and returned after 30 minutes to collect our meal. Upon enquiring, we were told the order was not yet ready. After waiting a further few minutes, we were then informed that it would take an additional 35 minutes before the meal would be ready. This extended and inconsistent waiting period for a simple takeaway order is wholly unacceptable. When we requested a refund, the waiter stated that they were not authorised to issue refunds and that we had no option but to wait. This response was both unhelpful and unsatisfactory, reflecting poorly on your customer service and refund policy. Given the lack of resolution and unwillingness of staff to address our concerns, we had no choice but to leave and seek alternative dining options. This experience has left us extremely dissatisfied, not only with the unreasonable delay but also with the refusal to provide a fair and immediate solution. I had an absolutely amazing experience at Ocean Basket! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite tasted like the ocean itself. The seafood was perfectly grilled, and the sauces complemented it wonderfully.

But what truly made the meal special was our waitress, Sam. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Their warm smile and excellent service made us feel genuinely cared for.
