By far one of the best food experiences we had ever!

Your taste buds will go on an epic journey and experience some new flavours, and combinations of food you never tasted before.

Also have to add, the open kitchen gives you a glimpse of the passion and some ā€œbehind the scenesā€ action whats going on to produce the magnificent food that comes out of that kitchen, the fact that the chef - Samantha brought the food herself, and had a bit of a chat, gave some background of their history etc. Just gave each dish and our experience that personal touch of hand crafted, well thought out, extremely good food they produce.

I also feel you get value for money, me and fiancĆ© both had starters, mains, desert, a bottle of wine, coffee, beer and the bill came to R870??? WHAAT??? I know this is so wrong to say from a customers point of view, but i feel they can make their food slightly more expensive, me myself I’m a business man, what you get and what you pay for is 2 different things. Let me put it this way, imagine paying for a VW City Golf but you end up getting a Ferrari…

PS… DONT LEAVE WITHOUT EATING THE MILK TART DESERT! - (if it’s not good, send me a watsapp and i will give you your...

Incredible! Kapokbos has been a highlight of our garden route road trip, thanks so much to all the team for a wonderful experience.

My partner and I wanted to break up a long drive, so took a detour and booked a table at Kapokbos after seeing the reviews. The experience did not disappoint - the food is sensational, the service exemplary and the setting is absolutely stunning!

The restaurant itself is airy and modern with views of lush green vineyard. We were made to feel at home quickly, by staff who were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and the FOOD! Absolutely delicious, especially when enjoyed with wines from the beautiful vineyard just outside. Somehow the restaurant manages to create an experience which feels both high end and refined, whilst being warm and down to earth at the same time.

We ended up booking a night to stay in Bonnievale and returned to the deli the next morning for breakfast, smoothies and coffees. Kapokbos’ delicious food, hospitality and beautiful scenery quickly became a highlight of our Garden Route Road trip. Please go, definitely...

Amazing venue with picturesque views. Definitely worth making a reservation when passing through or staying in the area.

I had a Lamb Rillettes starter, Beef main and the chocolate desert.

Rillette : perfect balance on flavour, texture & use of spice. Fresh savoury and sour combination that honestly had me rate it a perfect 10/10 on the first bite.

BEEF Main : Choice today at the time of visit was a beef short-rib, stoved fig and gravy with a smooth and buttery mash. Shortrib was to perfection with a fantastic balance of savoury & sweet. Personal complaint was the crumbed onion but, again, personal complaint as I do not particularly enjoy crumbed onion. I will still give a rating of 9/10.

Chocolate Desert : Bitter sweet chocolate cremeux with whiskey was smooth, rich and creamy with delicious cherry. An excellent way to end a meaty meal.

As a non wine drinker I can not comment on the selection of wine, though other alcoholic substitute selection was a bit lacking.

Parking : accessible, plenty and very short stroll from the restaurant.

Pricing :...
