KFC Kagiso Old Mutual — Restaurant in Mogale City Local Municipality

This is the worst service I have gotten , yesterday I got the at 20:45 , I found family's who have been the probably longer than I was. I left the place at 22:05 , because no one cared to inform us that the was meat and we might have wait an hour. The staff don't care and when you ask for the manager to try and understand what the delay is then simply hide the manager . Judging by the reviews here I am not surprised. Mind you I had my 1 year 6 month son with me , the whole reason I was there was to get a quik meal for the family I spent an hour. They might not care, but stay away from that place at night it's not worth...

I want to honestly give the team at KFC Kagiso a five star. My reasons are as follows :

The shop is neat all the time

The chicken is fresh all the time (considering the fact that I have bought KFC at surbaban areas _ such as Florida, Key West and Mulberton, and their chicken was not nice. Their chicken was too oily and not crisp). KFC Kagiso should teach other KFC outlets how to cook or fry their chicken and wings. I'm being honest here.

The staff is professional and their service is excellent.

I don't visit my mom at Kagiso and not pop in at Kagiso Mall KFC.

It was on the 26th of September 2025, late around 7-8pm. Firstly the service was horrible, the employees kept on complaining about how tired they were. The meat they gave us was not coated well like the KFC we are used to. The bucket was literally full of oil and I was not surprised after when my whole family got diagnosed with food poisoning. This is after we saw green particles in one of the pieces unfortunately we had already had the chicken.
