Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in Msunduzi Local Municipality

By far the worst experience I've had with you guys. 1 star is over rating.

I've ordered online at 19.06 on 28/11/2020. I called about 45mins later and enquired about my order which was confirmed and received by Debonairs Raisethorpe. I called several times later as the tracking does not work for this specific store. After speaking to someone else 2 hours later we agreed on a 15 minute time frame for the driver to contact me which didn't happen. At approximately 21.20 I get a call from a driver asking if I Still want my order. I confirmed but wanted to speak to the manager. Who I spoke to and told me there was no lights and orders were being pushed which proved to be a lie... Fair enough... I accepted this and waited another 30 minutes... Whilst seeing other delivery guys exit my area.. It became obvious that there was a mishap on my order...

Finally the order arrives at 22:10, all we asked the delivery guy for, was to see the pizza (which should have been 3) the trade mark sticker which I mentioned to the manager at debonairs was not on the box... The grillers, margaritas and cool drink were not there as well... The delivery guy was extremely arrogant when we asked to see the pizza insisting it's made now.... Not allowing us to see the pizza.... Finally he handed it to my brother and mentions he didn't steal anything... So obviously something was up... He persisted to argue when we said there's no sticker... And for once we were not going to pay which is were he got upset as wages would be deducted from him. Which I understand I tried explaining to him calmly but his arrogance and aggressive persistence continued. Insultingly saying that we want to eat for free and cursing which infuriated my brother avoiding any further issues I asked him to leave and said I'd call the manager Amanda since he refused to do so when asked several times. He stayed and argued for a longer time and continued insulting us.... I tried calling over 7 times to address this issue with the manager. He proceeded to try and threaten us with calling the police (yes this much drama when you stand your ground) absolutely pathetic.

I personally will never order from this branch and I would like the owner of this branch to contact me.

I hope this message reaches the owner of debonairs raisethorpe, the staff are sabotaging your business. Full of lies and taking chances , I mean what kind of delivery bike doesn't have a box attached to the rear that a pizza can get delivered in a box soaked with water and the pizza hanging out the edges. We contacted the branch and explained and then all of a sudden they stop talking on the phone but we can hear people breathing into the phone and talking into the background, then we went back & forth with the call centre, after jumping into my vehicle and en route to debonairs raisethorpe we were advised that a driver is on his way with our pizza and for some reason I decided not to turn around and go home but rather to continue to display the pizza we received. Sibahle who is the manager was apparently not in store at around 20:20. We showed the staff the pizza and then we were advised that they had just prepared 2 new pizzas that just came out the oven , YET AGAIN CONTRADICTIVE because we were advised that the driver is on his way. I hope the owner/higher management can train the staff and drivers...

If I could rate this 'establisment' zero stars I certainly would.

An order was placed at 19:46 and arrived almost 2 hours later, it was short of 20 minutes from being 2 hours late.

The call Centre was offline. The people at the restaurant were not responding to the calls we placed for the query we had regarding where the heck our food was.

Upon arrival the quality promise sticker was missing from the box and each of the pizzas had really hard cheese on it and we're extremely cold. From one of the pizzas delivered a piece was missing off the side like it either fell or was trimmed off.

I did not appreciate the sub par quality of food that was delivered to us we did however appreciate the fact that a refund was sent which was short of R9.80.

The food which was delivered was honestly food which anyone should not pay for any way.
