McDonald's Raisethorpe Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Msunduzi Local Municipality

This is by far the Worst McDonald's ever to have existed. Spent 25 minutes in the driver through, repeating my order for over 4 times. At the end of it all I had missing items on my slip. When I confronted the collection point I was told I need to come into the store/drive again(for another 20 minutes) to replace a fries that was not added to my order.

The attitude received from "Inga" was putrid. Clicking of tongues for asking to add on a fries to my order that was not captured competently (repeating my order 4 times), and all the burgers had no sauce at all.

Is this the service that should be expected when we pay such a premium for McDonald's?????

Please guys. Stop embarrasing and defaming the good name of McDonald's with your incompetent service. Close your doors because you are not fit to carry the McDonald's franchise name.

Will make this experience known to everyone in the Raisethorpe area as this is poor customer service and delivery beyond measure.

I'm writing to express my disappointment with my recent visit to the McDonald's in Pietermaritzburg, specifically the one located in Raistorp. On [1st April 2025], I placed a large order exceeding R1,000 before closing time. However, I was not satisfied with the service and the quality of the food .

The issues I experienced include:

Two Happy Meals were ordered, but they didn't include juices for the kids. The Happy Meals was for boys but they never had toys for boys The burgers were extremely small and appeared to be made hastily.

I'd like to request a refund or a suitable replacement for my order. I have kept the receipt and can provide it as proof of purchase. I hope you'll look into this matter and take necessary steps to improve the quality of service and food at this location.

For sure a clean well located branch , you should grown sales since the branch at brookside is closed , what happens when they reopen , this is what’s going around , hear these complaints at events I attend, but our Raiserhorpe branch is slow , when you see A4 page stuck all over either no ice cream , offline or sorry no chicken burger. Complaints are ongoing however they always respond to you as our branch , come now guys these are your community, you need their ongoing support , please or they will start going to the town branches or soon start making the brookside branch our branch , huge community around , keep your customers happy .

I rarely have negative vibe at your branch , then again I’m often there very early , my daughter must stop for snack before we travel , I grab a coffee , and invite you to please offer option to put my sugar in , mix which ready to drink , remember we drive thru and...
