McDonald's Heritage Park Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Somerset West

Appauled by the front of house elderly African lady (Nolundi name tag) that destroyed my regular patronage at this McD's with her blatant arrogance, confrontational demeanor and dismissive attitude towards me. I will not be back thank you very much for spoiling my experience today sisi..

I greeted you with respect and genuiness when walking in.. But it seemed you wanted to stay in your corner and not do anything until your shift ended.. All I wanted to do was order my meal at the 4th screen (closest to the pay/collection of food point), sit down and relax and have my meal. Instead I ended up being called to the 1st screen (closest to your little corner by the door) by you, (for God knows what reason), and told "you can order here".. Fine.. I come over thinking there is a problem with the 4th screen all confused.. I ask you what the problem is why I can't order at this 4th screen and immediately start being treated like I am causing so much inconvenience in your world 😕.. You get my blood boiling so much but I remain calm, place my order and obviously change it from sit in to take out because I want to get away from you.. Walking passed the 4th screen I see that it is in perfect working order.. Sitting in my car now eating I can see the trend through the window with other customers coming in.. You are pulling them from the furthest screen telling them to order by the closest 1 to you so that you can "assist" because you are too damn lazy to walk to the furthest point! Some 2 meters away! Unbelievable.. Listen I wouldn't have minded moving closer to you at all.. But your horrible service made me do this.. I have never been treated like this before in any establishment..she made me feel like turning around and leaving immediately with her attitude.. Please move her from front of house to somewhere waaay in the back.. I feel like a bit of a moaner here but please check the cameras with this Aunty the...

I was utterly disappointed yesterday (12/11/2021)

I was with my family and ordered meals, after ordering and waiting a while we we I formed of the following:

we were first informed there was no Latte, my daughter then accepted a cappuccino.

My son was then informed that there were no Milkshake and then accepted an orange juice

After waiting a while longer we were then Iinformed there was no sauce for the Big Mac's I accepted this but asked for extra tomato sauce. Eventually when the food was brought to the table I had to send my son to the counter to fetch more tomato sauce as the burgers were extremely dry.

We then noticed that we were not given any services, so I again went to the counter to request a few services only to be told that there were none. I had to go to the bathroom to get paper from there.

I would have thought that there would be a price adjustment on the items given to the items ordered. This was not even offered, to me even if it is a small amount it should have been offered at the very least.

We as a family often support various McDonald's country wide and were highly disappointed at this McDonald's.

The employees were friendly and tried to be professional, however one could see that it was embarrassing and uncomfortable for them.

I trust that this complaint would receive your urgent attention as this is obviously a store...

The service we got from this place is absolutely horrendous. We were 2 cars in the drive through yet we still had to wait in the parking lot for our food...almost every single time we buy at this McDonalds we have to wait. I decided to buy some ice cream cones and went into the shop. The two ladies greeted me friendly and the one was more than kind to help me with my order. I asked her if two of the cones can be put into plastic containers and she said she would ask at the back. The reply I got was NO if I wanted ice cream in a cup I had to order the Sundaes. 15m I had to wait for 4 Ice Cream cones!! The young lady went to ask three times where my order was plus a previous customer that was waiting in the parking lot also came in and ask where his food was and all while the Manager is sitting in front and doing absolutely nothing but make comments in another language. Finally we received both our orders. Great. Ice Cream is already melting. Chips are cold and stale. The fold over consist of a whole lettuce head.

This McDonalds really needs to step up their game. Employ the right people in the right positions cause clearly something is not working. The only light in this situation was the kind young lady at the door willing to help. All the staff can take a page from her book especially...
