Zula Beach Richards Bay — Restaurant in uMhlathuze Local Municipality

Bathrooms are unhygienic, the floors are overall unkempt. Place looks newly renovated. Went there and there was a plumbing problem that resulted in water pooling in the passageway leading to the bathrooms. No “wet floor sign” and nobody cleaning the floor. The waiting stuff are unfamiliar with the menu. please printout hard copy of food and drinks menu for the tables 🫠. This place has so much potential, has enough staff, it just needs an experienced manager to run it properly. Carpets at the entrances would also be nice. 80% of the restaurant is indoors. 1 star. There’s something missing and I can’t quite place my finger on it. Would love to see this beautifully located...

Place is beautiful but I don't see myself going back to that place because the waiter was drunk, didn't want us to see the bill told us we must pay 1300 rather insisted to take the picture when I get home I looked the photo of the slip then I saw that she added ciders for herself in our bill so we literally paid for her alcohol she's been consuming at work what kind of theif is that still for guests people must be...

We drove up from Pinetown for a Sunday lunch. We arrived at the restuarant at about 1pm, but it seems we got there a bit too early. They were still cleaning up from last night's happenings, and setting up on the beach.

The music was great for a Sunday afternoon vibe.

We would love to return soon for an evening...
