Hoogeind cafe — Restaurant in Western Cape

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. The view outside is wonderful however if you choose to sit outside you may not get service as they "don't usually serve outside" It took a really long time to get service and by the time I got my burger I was so hungry I ate it despite the main flavour being burnt. The buns were toasted on the inside and then left to toast so that they were burnt. The pattie was a decent size but was burnt worse than buns with big chunks of carbon stuck to the outside. Overall the burger was bland besides the burnt taste and needed a sauce. The chips were very well done and had good flavour. Tomato sauce and Tabasco was provided along with salt and black...
