KFC Protea Heights — Restaurant in Western Cape

The worst KFC experience ever !!! . Placed order at the Drive Through. The lady at the fist kiosk was very efficient and the lady at the payment window very friendly ...then it all went pear shaped . We were told that the pops weren’t ready and we had to wait the the parking lot until the food was brought to us that defeats the object of the drive through ...When the order arrived the pops were not even a full cup and there two of my meals had no chips . The Coke Zero buddy that I had been charged for was in the order . I ask the lady who delivered my order to . Please foil up the pops and she replied that the pops had fallen out in the paper bag when I proved her wrong she replied the she did not pack the order with no apology . After several minutes the lady returned with the right amount of chips and pops , sadly did not have the Coke Zero that I had ordered , but a regular Coke . When I asked her to please get me the right drink. This time with no apology she replied that she did not do the order . After several minutes she returned with the correct Coke Zero .and hanged it over with no apology . The whole experience took about 45 minutes .... so much for ‘’fast food ‘’ We will not be going back there again ... bad don’t car attitude ,...

The only good take from this review would be that you receive your order slightly on the faster side but at what cost.

Well let me explain:

1*Cheating on portion sizes: streetwise 5 - 2 wings,1 drumstick and 2 smaller pieces.(does that match the criteria?)

2* chicken is dry and bland. Not up to standard by any means compared to prior experiences at other neighbouring branches.

Coleslaw is usually the nicest side one can order from KFC however this attempt from this particular branch ruins that experience.(stale and overly acidic)

Chips were oily and limp with a whispered idea of spicing.(like really?)

Oh and let us not forget about the simplest of things that one can do that does not require any specialist training to do… putting serviettes in the bag with the order…

For any self respecting person willing to read this far. Please for your own sanity, i repeat, do not visit or order from this branch until they have addressed their shortcomings.

Confused and...

Every visit to this KFC branch is pathetic and disappointing!!! I personally feel this KFC can close down! I live in Kraaifontein and I have never experienced this bad service with any of the KFC branches in Kraaifontein! Before they renovated this KFC the drive through felt like a visit to Sars or something. Super looong wait while staff stands outside chatting, with no recognition nor explanation to why you have to wait so long unless you asked. Today 25/08/22 renovations completed I bought 2 meals with my brekkie meal I requested a side piece breast(chicken) and they gave me a leg. Then there was no chilli salt or ketchup. It’s like these people working there think they doing you a favour like they working for the government or something. They forget each person buying there pays their salaries! All we ask is render a good service like most of the other KFC branches or let me put it this way get some training from Cape Gate branch or the...
