Our first king crab experience and it was at a king crab specialty store that’s a little off the beaten track 🦀

For 2 pax, our 3.2kg crab that costs 289,000 won was a little too much - although we weren’t sick of having it, especially when paired with the fried rice, it was super filling!

The crab meat was easy off the skin, seemingly fresh since it was freshly caught at the point of ordering - it could have been in the tank for some time though, judging from the sheer amount of crabs in there 🦀

It was an eye opening experience for us both to feast on our favourite seafood - and while it’s just steamed, it was the best choice since it retains the original sweetness and texture of the king crab 🤤

The boss was also very friendly as well - checking in on us to make sure we are happy and he also kindly helped us get a cab!

I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking to get yourself a king crab experience, even if it means travelling a little off your...

I went to Jalgalchi market earlier today and after seeing what everyone had on their dining table I was unimpressed and left without eating any seafood there. In the evening I found out my hotel is very close to this place, walked in and was the only customer. We used translation app to communicate and given that I was dining alone the helpful staff there recommended that I get the snow crab instead of king crab.

The snow crab was steamed perfectly, extremely fresh and sweet, didn’t need any sauces or condiments. One of the best I’ve ever tasted! The price was 110,000, which I would gladly pay again to enjoy. Next time I plan on getting the king crab.

They also provide with the meal a rice dish and noodles with soup, both of which I ended up not having because I was too full and trying to cut down on carb intake.

Highly recommended if you love to eat...

Have always heard that Busan is best known for its seafood but there was a few places to avoid because they're known as tourist traps. We did a quick research and was super pleased to find this hidden gem. The owner is super friendly and speaks really good English. You get to choose your crabs (either king crabs, red crabs and another type of grey crabs) and they'll cook it fresh. The king crab really value for its size & freshness compared to where we came from! As you can see from the pictures, it's HUGE and sooo fresh. Best king crab I've ever eaten in my life and totally no sauce needed at all. Owner also threw it free drinks, ramen and fried rice! Highly recommend this place if you're a crab lover and...
