AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The service was so awful that I am posting my first online review, in hopes that others do not have to endure such terrible treatment.
While the overall ambiance and design were nice, the manager was rude and disrespectful, even to the elderly in our party. We took a 25-minute taxi from Ananti Hotel specifically to visit this cafe, right when it opened at 10am. You are not allowed to enter without each person purchasing a drink, and given that our group took two cars, the first group informed the staff that they would order altogether when the second car arrived a few minutes later. The staff responded very rudely, thus while ordering, grandma suggested that they could speak more kindly to guests. This quickly escalated into a yelling match, with the manager snickering, using an angry tone, and smirking. When asked why he was yelling at customers, he replied that since the customer yelled first he yelled right back. There were barely any other customers at 10am on a weekday so there was no need to make us feel like criminals who were only waiting for the whole party to arrive before purchasing drinks. The manager refused to back down at any point during the conflict, even when calmly spoken to by others in our party who were trying to de-escalate the situation. By then, half the group had already ordered so we ended up staying at the cafe. Although the manager did apologize afterwards, our experience and mood were already ruined.
There are plenty of other cafes with the same ocean view, your money will be better...

This isn’t my first time visiting this café — in fact, it’s my third. I used to enjoy coming here, but after today’s experience, I don’t think I’ll ever return.
Everything started when I asked for a straw and was met with an unpleasant attitude from the staff. That already felt off, but what happened next was even worse. My friend and I left our drinks on the table while taking photos nearby for about 30–40 minutes. When we came back, both of our full coffees had been cleared away — untouched!
We asked the staff about it, and instead of an apology or even an explanation, we were just told that they would remake our drinks. No acknowledgment, no remorse — just cold indifference. It honestly felt like we weren’t being treated with the same respect as other customers. I couldn’t help but wonder — was it because we’re Asian?
It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated this way, especially in a place we had previously enjoyed. Respect and basic courtesy should apply to all customers, regardless of where...
