No wonder people say “this is the place for coffee” in Chuncheon. Among all the spots I’ve visited recently, this one truly stands out. The coffee is excellent, but the staff’s kindness makes it even more special. With its high ceilings, open layout, and a lovely second-floor terrace, it’s beyond “best in Chuncheon”—I’d bring any overseas friends here in a heartbeat. Highly recommended. Beautiful layout with 3 floors, high ceiling, and tall window. The furniture is delightful and well chosen. It creates a vintage vibe with a modern twist. There are tables that look like a rail car track and the best spot to sit at is a room on the highest floor that has many fresh plants. The outside has a stunning view of the mountains of Korea and the red door prop is a must for pictures. The bakery goods and coffee are very yummy and rich. 춘천에 사는 친구가 소개해준 카페 220V

춘천시내에서 살짝 벗어나 한적한 시골도로를 따라가면서… 제대로 가고 있는건가 의구심이 들 때쯤 갑자기 논밭을 앞에 두고 언덕길 아래로 이쁘장하게 줄서있는 빌라들이 나타나는데 그 위로 거대한 카페 220V가 맏형처럼 등장합니다. 이곳만 다른 세계인듯 존재하지만… 은근 주변의 자연들과 잘 어우러진 첫인상이 좋았어요. 실내에 들어서면 정면에 병풍처럼 서 있는 산을 큼지막히 담는 카페의 거대한 창들이 실내를 실외보다 더 거대하고 빛나보이게 합니다. 자연광이 쏟아지는 정면과 서서히 그림자와 조명들로 채워지는 깊은 내부의 공간들이 참 매력적입니다. 1층부터 3층까지를 잇는 계단을 오르면서 어디에 앉을까 하는 재밌는 고민도 해보고.. 3층에서 계단 틈 사이로 1층 공간을 내려다보는 것도 흥미로워요 ㅎㅎ

음료와 음식 얘기를 하자면, 매번 올 때마다 느끼는거지만 이곳의 라떼는 진하고 고소한 맛이 정말 최고예요! 에스프레소와 우유의 조합이 이보다 더 좋을 수는 없을듯요.. 그에 비해 아메리카노는 다소 평범한 느낌이구요. 또 카페 220V는 여러 다양한 빵들로도 유명해요. 이번에 먹은 것들 중에는 갈릭크림빵이 정말 맛있었는데요 마늘향이 돌고 약간의 산미가 있어서 크림이 느끼하지 않아서 맘에 쏙 들었어요. 나오는 길에 추가구매 하려고 했는데 그 새 다 팔렸더라는.. ㅠㅠ

연탄식빵은 너무 귀여워서 구입했는데… 약간의 반전은 까만 겉모습과 다르게 안은 치즈가 가득하니 빵 반 치즈 반이더라구요 치즈 좋아하시는 분들께 강추입니다! 음료도 빵도 다 좋은데 한가지 아쉬운 점은 예전에 보너스처럼 받아왔던 볼트만의 감성을 담은 리유저블 컵들이 더 이상 없다는 거였어요. 집에 돌아와서 컵들 사용하면서 느꼈던 여운… 참 좋았었는데… 그리고 다양한 볼트 머그들도 더 이상 판매하지 않는다고 하네요. 해외에 있다 오랫만에 들렸는데… 정말 반가웠고 역시나 좋았습니다. 분명한 건 다음에 춘천에 또 가면 카페는 무조건 220V...
