동궁회관 — Restaurant in Chunyang-myeon

This is a place where you can get some very special dishes that are uniquely grown in this part of the region. If you enjoy Korean herbs, you'd love this place. They also have the Korean Songyi/pine mushrooms, aka matsutake incorporated dishes. The restaurant is big enough with actual western style sit-down tables and chairs (very important for foreigners who aren't used to floor sittings). All the banchans are prepared well and tasty. Definitely try their hotstone pot rice. I think those are the best bang for your buck dishes. Since those come with the side soup & grilled fish. The service is quick and efficient. Don't expect the country hospitality because you'd be rather disappointed. If you are somehow in this part of the woods, this restaurant is a reliable place to dine in.
