Hill Top Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Daegu

From my understanding, I do not know if this is true, this place had been renovated recently. I looks great on the inside. There is a smell of strong wood which hinted at renovation. There are multiple TV's. Two wall sized and six or more flat screens inside. There is a small gambling machine area with an atm inside. There is a bar with fast service but it is quite a big facility so I can definitely see service being delayed due to a full house. The service was great! All special requests that night were attended to timely and with care. They were not stingy with the sauce, they actually gave us 7 full bottles of various sauces that were new to me but tasted familiar. Seating was selected by the customers. Seating was comfortable. I chose the booth not the traditional seating. Menus were small and easy to read. Customer service was good. They understood majority of the language even with my ancient. The do serve alcohol and all ingredients are displayed on menu. You cannot hear the TVs because the music is overlapping all electronic noise but it isn't loud at all. I forgot the beverages but I ordered water and a cup of ice. They do have chop sticks, you have to ask for them however. The food was great and well seasoned overall. It was not, however, seasoned to my standard but I have definitely had a lot worse. Nothing was over and/or under cooked. Do make sure you ask if any sauces come on the food because sometimes it is not stated on the menu. There is outdoor seating and the facility is clean, nice and has a beautiful inside and outside. The door is blank on the outside which made me think it was closed but it is not. There is a giant wall sized mirror great for pictures. Restrooms are up to standard and clean! Overall loved it and would recommend to a friend. I would say that this restaurant should incorporate a few more items on the menu. Its a nice place to relax but it is more like barbecue, like rack of pork ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, smoked sausage links. But they do have steaks, sirloin, ribeye, porterhouse. Price wise well you make that decision on responsible prices or not and the quality and quantity. The club use to really be crowded and DJ and some real good entertainment. But now it seems different since covid-19 happened it changed alot of things for not just clubs, but for everyone.

The management is customer service friendly and talks to the customers. Finds out what they like and don't like. What could make it better. They need to bring back the old menu they had chicken anju, fried rice, fettuccine, pasta bar, no buddy wants or eats BBQ seven...

They've done another menu update dropping all the BBQ and apparently aiming for a Hawaiian theme. We had:

Furikake salmon: ok, but forgettable. vegetables were good "Seared" salmon poke bowl salad: no searing despite being overcooked (poke is normally raw and this was over cooked by cooked salmon standards). The avocado was frozen. Literally frozen. Kahlua pork nachos: the pork itself was fine, if a bit sparse, but the chips were stale and the whole dish was so dry I had to ask for a side of salsa.

Service was ok. We had to hunt for our server a bit despite the place being empty, and they didn't give a drink menu initially, but other than that they were good.
