여빈 — Restaurant in Gimhae-si

This was my first time visiting this jjambbong restaurant. I’m not very good with spicy foods, so I ordered the white jjambbong, while my wife opted for the red jjambbong with a mild spice level. We also ordered a small tangsuyuk to share.

First of all, the taste was flawless for me. The white jjambbong I ordered wasn’t spicy and tasted similar to Chinese-style udon. The red jjambbong was a bit spicy for me, but still flavorful and enjoyable.

Due to a server’s mistake, we were served chili shrimp instead of the tangsuyuk we had ordered. I said it was okay, and we decided to go ahead and eat it. It was even served in a large size, not the small one we ordered. They apologized and offered us a complimentary soda. Serving mistakes can happen, and I understand that; however, it’s something to be cautious about. I was a bit disappointed that we couldn’t try the tangsuyuk, but the chili shrimp was also really delicious. We ended up packing the leftovers to take home.

All in all, this is a delicious jjambbong place that I’d love to...
