Overall, my experience was wonderful. However their customer service needs to be re-evaluated.
I tried the Honduras La Piuda Geisha as a pour over and really enjoyed it. I was considering purchasing some to bring back home to the US and located the beans for sale on the counter. There was just a single box left.
Because I couldnโt read Korean, I was manually matching up the characters with the cute card they provided with my coffee. I had set the box down, and the employee took the box away - without explanation.
My girlfriend, who is Korean, asked the gentlemen who took the box away and he explained they were out of that coffee and so the box was no longer for sale because they were out of that coffee and wanted to use it to brew in store.
I understand their decision, but it felt like it was literally swiped from me as I was about to buy it. They should have removed it earlier, spoken to me about what was happening, or offered us the option to purchase it.
Its sad that my visit to Coffee Temple was soured by this moment, especially since I probably wonโt be back in Jeju...
ย ย ย Read moreCoffee Temple Jeju is a must-visit destination for coffee lovers and nature enthusiasts alike! Located in the beautiful Jeju Island, this coffee shop is a serene oasis that combines stunning natural surroundings with a passion for specialty coffee.
The coffee selection is impressive, with a variety of blends and single-origin beans that are expertly roasted and brewed. I tried their signature coffee, special brew with matcha foam which was rich and refreshing with notes of melon. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, with the baristas happy to guide me through the menu. The staff tried the best to assist me with manageable information i needed and recommended good drip coffees for me to bring home
The shop is surrounded by lush greenery tucked inside a hidden corner. It gets busier quickly recommended to drop by before 11pm. Not much of indoor seatings but with the summer season itโs best to seat inside maybe just me ๐ฎโ๐จ

Special shoutout to the crew โ 4 to 5 friendly faces who clearly love what theyโre doing. Always smiling, always game for a quick chat if youโre curious about their beans. Itโs rare to see service that feels this genuine.
