Authentic South Korean food. Specialized in eel dishes. It was very tasty (for example salted or soy based eel). A reminder for foreigners - you have to remove your shoes (women also) when sitting by the table. Be sure to make a reservation before arrival otherwise it may be full. Highly recommended for eel tasting. A wired fence behind the window facing North Korea is a reminder that peace is a present we should appreciate here and now.

Great tasting, Eel!!!!! It is quite expensive but worth the price. I have tried other places in the last 3-4 years due to the price, but the texture was never as good as this place. It is definitely one of the places where I make sure to go on every trip to Korea for the last 15 years! We eat marinated Eels but not salty at all. Eels are thick, soft yet bouncy! Definitely best tasting Eel I ever had!

It's an unique Korean style restaurant which is focused on eel barbecue. Price is quite high but good food quality and great scenes. Also it's a good location to see Han river which is nearest located in north parts of Seoul. It's closed to Panmunjom. 38 barder. Highly recommended...

Very nice restaurant specially for eel, 10+ complimentary side dishes that comes with any dish ordered. Not cheap, not the most expensive. We paid roughly 140,000 korean won for lunch 4 adults 1 baby. Recommend to try

Here in Paju, this restaurant is where Koreans go to enjoy family dining. A Food is slightly on the expensive side but the eel and Maeun Tang are absolutely worth the price. What an amazing spread of food!

으리으리하네요 별 계획 없이 집에서 파주로 떠났다가 생각난 김에 방문했는데요 그랬더니 무려 오픈 한 시간 전에 도착! 덕분에 웨이팅 1등으로 등록했습니다. 테이블링으로 현장 웨이팅만 받고 계신 것 같아요. 무려 한 시간 전에 도착했지만 바로 옆에 반구정이 있어서 한적한 반구정 즐기고 나니 기다렸다는 느낌 없이 입장이 가능했습니다. 예약 손님은 아닌터라 홀의 비예약석으로 안내 받았습니다. 가격이 싼 편은 아니지만 그 값 합니다. 장어 그래도 많이 먹어봤는데요. 살면서 먹은 장어 중에 가장 탱글탱글합니다. 직접 굽는게 아니라 구워져서 나오다보니 굽기 스킬이 달라서 그런가 최적의 맛인거 같아요. 아무래도 차 타도 멀리 가서 먹어야하는 곳이다보니 술 마시지 못하는게 아쉽네요. 다음에는 누가 운전해주는 차 타고 가서 술 마시면서 즐기고 오고 싶어요.
