Pancake house — Restaurant in Pyeongtaek-si

Walking in, it smelled like a candle was lit, and the closer towards the side of the restaurant, the more it smelled like something was burning. The service wasn't that great. The only time they checked in with us after getting our food was if we wanted a box and our check and to see if we had paid yet. The food was disappointing. My husband got the meat lovers omelet, banana pancakes, side of hashbrowns, and lemonade. His omlet came out with this lemon zest stuff, and it didn't go with either the pancakes or the omlet. I got the cowboy omlet, and the sausage gravy was...blended? So it made it a gross gritty texture, and there was hardly anything inside the omlet. When we both asked for hashbrowns, we were expecting traditional hashbrowns, not hashbrown patties. My daughter ordered strawberry crepes, which crepes typically have a custard like filling. First and foremost the food is excellent and cooked fresh to order, which is why you might have a 15 minute wait. If it's busy you could be waiting an hour or longer. The service provided is high quality and very polite, but they cannot keep up with the volume of customers sometimes so if you're looking for a quick bite during lunch or breakfast time, you might not want to risk it. The atmosphere can be loud at times (soldiers) and the seating arrangement is not very family friendly if you have a medium to large group. The food is also on the expensive side, but it is top tier quality...

Food is good (we don't have many breakfast options left on CH), but service is abysmally slow, staff struggle to effectively communicate to customers, and the cashiers randomly stop taking orders for 10-15 minutes while they cook. They typically only have 2 employees working...and today it took an hour to get served. Not a place to visit if you are trying to get in and out with your family.
