We chanced upon this place on a Thursday noon time. Nobody inside. The shop has 3 tables inside a tight room. They only serve 2 types of fried chicken - plain deep fried & one with sweet sauce. Both nice. There is fried rice cake and potatoes in the dishes. Both very good. The plain one was hot and crunchy. 1 Coke, 1 beer and 2 large portions of fried chicken for 4 pax - 52000 won. Free parking at roadside till 1.30pm.

서귀포 남원읍에서 옛날스타일 통닭의 양대산맥중 한곳인 수원닭집입니다. 중앙닭집이 닭똥집과 대형 코카콜라 그리고 엄청나게 많은 양으로 승부를 한다면 수원닭집은 양보다는 맛으로 승부를 한다고 보시면 될듯 해요. 확실히 중앙닭집 보다는 닭의 사이즈도 작고 콜라도 500ml 짜리에 양념소스까지 많지 않지만 얇고 바삭한 튀김옷과 가래떡 튀김 등 맛은 확실히 수원닭집의 승이네요. 그렇다고 해서 양이 완전 적은것도 아니고요. 일반적으로 대형 체인점과 비교하면 양이 많은 편이라 가성비는 좋습니다. 옛날 느낌나게 두꺼운 박스에 담아주시는 것도 느낌 좋네요.
