Our first experience with Jeju’s famous black pork was unforgettable, thanks to Don-Eogil, a spot highly recommended by friends. We opted for the set menu for two, which included grilled pork belly, neck meat, and a serving of garlic rice. The rice, mixed with a raw egg yolk, enhanced the garlic’s flavor beautifully.

The black pork was expertly grilled by our server, Lee, who not only ensured everything was cooked to perfection but also shared tips to elevate the experience. He suggested pairing the aged meat with a sprinkle of salt, wrapping it in a lotus leaf jangajji with lettuce, or dipping it into the accompanying fish sauce for a flavor boost.

Definitely a must visit if you are near Seogwipo or planning to visit. The food is fantastic! One of the best Jeju black pork BBQ I ever had. They use aged black pork which makes the meat more flavorful and tender after grilling. The meat is grilled over a charcoal grill. It’s as authentic as it can be.

Service is top notch, the staff can understand simple English and the menu is bilingual. We had a 2 person set from 61000 krw. The price is very reasonable. First time having black pork bbq & I am glad we found this place! They cook it & tell you the order of sampling for the black pork. Apparently a lot of Korean celebrities have gone to eat here (for those drama lovers). There were two of us & we got the 2 person plate as well as one soup (sharable) & we were both satisfied. The plate(bbq) for 2 people did also come with a kimchi soup that was a pleasant addition to the bbq & banchan's(sides).
