솔밭가든막국수 — Restaurant in Sokcho-si

Since Gangwon-do is famous for their buckwheat, makguksu is a menu to try in Sokcho. The atmosphere is like old school restaurant which is pleasant and relaxed, the owner is very kind.

Bibim makguksu is on the spicy side but good so before if you cannot eat spicy. Buckwheat pajeon, crispy, pretty good. But I think the best dish that I was not expected was the park bossum suyuk. It is very delicious, the pork is tender and tasty and on the outside it does have a slight grilled texture with hint of smokiness. 막국수 찾다가 들른 집. 비내리는 날이었는데도 웨이팅이 네 팀이나 있는 걸로 봐선 사람들 꽤나 찾아오는 곳인듯. 주차장은 골목 따라 쭉 들어가면 공터 있는데, 주차 도와주는 사람이 따로 있었음. 테이블링 시스템 적용 중이고, 웨이팅 장소가 따로 마련되어 있음. 사람 나가고 자리 준비 되면 안에서 마이크로 불러줌. 가격은 보통 수준이고, 맛도 크게 '와 여기 못 들렀으면 어쩔 뻔했냐' 싶을 정도도 아니고, 그냥 평범함. 수육은 가심비가 상당히 떨어짐. 살아가다보니 돈이 다가 아니라는 문구를 붙여놓은 거 치곤 사장은 벽에 붙어서 테이블 회전시키기 바쁘고, 중간에 물 어쩌다 쏟아서 닦느라 테이블에 있는 휴지 다 쓰고도 모자라서 좀 달랬더니 세상 남일처럼 '저- 벽에 붙어 있는 거 뽑아다 쓰세요' 이럼 ㅋㅋ 웨이팅도 해야 하고, 접객도 별로고, 홀도 부산스럽고, 직원은 일 못하고, 사장은 테이블에 관심 없고, 그렇다고 음식이 특출나게 괜찮은 것도 아니고, 아무런 메리트도 없는 집. 관광객 상대로 장사하는 건지 '너네 아니어도 올 사람 많아ㅎ' 딱 이런 느낌이라 식사 실컷 하고도 썩 유쾌하게 나오진 않은 듯.
