My fiancé and I got there at 12:15 and ordered the 다원특정식 (2 pax) set which came with a grilled fish (생선구이/sengsun gui) and shrimp plate and crab soup (게국지/gegookji), rice and a beverage. The grilled fish and shrimp were good and so warm, but you can tell they cook it well ahead of the lunch rush so don't come for lunch too late or else you risk overly dry fish. The crab soup was clean and simply, but lacked depth - it was good, but not great. It got better towards the end of our meal after it had been simmering for a long while, but who had the patience or time at lunch to wait 40+ minutes to summer soup before eating? It would have been much better if they would have preboiled the soup base and the brought out the soup with the fresh crab and veggies to boil quickly at the table without compromising on depth of flavor or making customers wait for the depth of flavor to infuse from the crab and clams. The side dishes (반찬/banchan) were standard and good, except for the dessert glutinous rice cakes (떡/dduk) which were oily, cold (hardened) and bland by the time we finished our meal and tried them. I would recommend going before 12 noon to get fresher food, having time to simmer the soup and not have too cold 떡 to cap off your meal. Also, the young gentlemen serving (either sons or younger brothers of the owners?) were polite enough while taking our order and serving, but forget about guest comfort/experience as they crash plates and cutlery onto their cleaning cart to hurriedly clear the tables. Food 4, value 4, atmosphere 3, service 3.5. I would eat here again if in the neighborhood and it's before noon, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here again.

결론부터 말하자면 게국지보단 간장게장, 양념게장 맛집입니다! > 간장게장은 비리지 않아서 비린거 싫어하는 저희 엄마도 드실 수 있었습니다. 간장양념이 많이 짜지 않아서 먹기 불편하지 않아서 게딱지에 간장양념 2-3숟갈 넣어서 비벼먹으면 간이 딱 맞아요. > 양념게장은 달달하면서 매운데 어디서 먹어본 양념이예요. 익숙한데 어디서 먹어본 맛인지 기억이 안나요. 아무튼 전 두가지중 하나를 고르자면 간장게장파인데 이 집은 간장게장보단 양념게장이 더 맛있었어요. 맵찔이에겐 너무 매워요. 매운데 맛있어요! 비닐장갑 끼고 꾸욱 짜서 밥 비벼 먹우면 진짜 맛있습니다. > 생선구이는 조금 아쉬움이 남았어요. 메인메뉴가 아니니깐 그런가보다 하고 패스~ > 메인인 게국지! 태안에는 게국지 먹으러 와도 과언이 아닐정도로 맛집들이 많아서 기대했는데... 국물이 짠데 간은 안베여있고, 게국지에 들어간 게들은 속이 다 비여져있었어요. 싱싱한 맛이 없더라고요. 만약 이 집을 다시 방문한다면 게국지말고 게장만 주문해서 먹을 것 같아요.

팜비치팬션에서 다원에 배달 주문 했습니다. 양념게장 1인상과 간장게장 2마리. 간장게장이 짜지 않으면서 비리지 않은 건 첨 먹어 봤습니다. 양념게장은 조금 매웠지만 맛있었구요. 간장게장은 내일 포장해서 가져갈 생각입니다. 청포대해수욕장 근처 오시면 꼭 한번씩 드셔 보세요. 그리고 주문 후 도착하셨을때 양념게장 2마리와 간장게장 1마리로 와서 배달 오신 사장님(?)께 잘못 배달 되었다고 다시 말씀드려 다시 받았습니다. 더운 날씨에 미안한 맘이 많았는데 너무 친절하게 대응해 주셔서 기분 좋게 먹었습니다. 아. 메뉴판에는 양념게장 1인상에 반찬 가지수가 9가지라고 되어 있었는데 도착한 것은 6가지였습니다.(밥은 원래 1공기인데 잘못 배달하셨다고 밥 1공기 더 서비스로 주셨습니다) 3가지가 빠졌지만 맛이 넘 좋아 만족합니다.
