This is a cinnamon swirl. It was very delicious. The texture was good, it had a little bit of chewiness to it. The icing was sweet with some tanginess because it had cream cheese in it. Perfect with a cup of coffee.

먹자마자 깨달았다. 뭔가 다르다는 걸. 그 옛날 집에서 어머니가 만든 빵맛이 떠올랐다. 독일 빵집에서 이런 맛을 느낄 줄은 예상도 못했다. 유명한 빵집에서 느끼는 달콤하고 고소한 맛이 아니라 투박하면서도 정겨운, 그러면서도 곱씹게 되는 맛이었다. 남해를 대표하는 빵집이지만 놓인 자리나 외관 실내는 너무나 평범하다. 이제껏 가본 여러 유명 빵집의 이미지를 깨는 곳이다. 빵맛에 일가견이 있는 아내는 엄지척을 했다. 팥 들어간 것 좋아하고 고소한 대중빵을 좋아하는 내 입엔 다소 어려웠지만 그래도 묘하게 계속 오물거리게 됐다. 주인분이 독일 생활을 했을 거라는 생각과는 달리 가게역사엔 또다른 반전이 숨어있었다. 빵과는 상관없이 서울에서 줄곧 직장생활을 한 주인분. 나이가 들어 남해에서 부동산가게를 차린다. 소싯적 배운 솜씨로 빵을 만들어 내놨는데 다들 감탄. 마침 알게된 독일마을 독일분이 빵집을 차릴 것을 권유했다고. 인생은 모를 일이고 빵집 역사가 참 재미있다. 빵을 먹고 근처 방조림을 꼭...
