부산횟집 — Restaurant in South Gyeongsang

If you are in the Southwestern area of Namhae I definitely recommend stopping by here for a refreshing seafood dish, it's especially wonderful right now during these hot summer days! I actually only found this place because a local cafe owner invited me to lunch with his family, otherwise there is no way I would have found it! It's off the beaten path, with a beautiful view of the harbor and the ocean, little blue boats bobbing around right outside the door. There's not better promise of fresh fish than the fisherman literally walking off their boat next to the restaurant! This is a floor seating only restaurant, and their lunch breaktime is 2-3. It was so popular that we arrived at 3 and they already had a line of people out the door! They take your temperature before letting you inside as well. Once you sit down there's only one dish you can order, the mulhoi! It will come in a large bowl in the middle and everyone will have their own personal bowls. You can add noodles to your bowl then pour the mulhoi over the noodles. It is a raw fish 'soup' of sorts. That doesn't sound appetizing but it is honestly soooo refreshing! It is raw fish, cucumber, pear, and a red sauce that I would not describe as spicy or sweet but somewhere...

여기 맛있습니다. 개인적으로 생활의 달인에 나오는 식당을 좋아하는데 이 집도 역시였습니다. 남해의 맛집은 주로 서면에 위치하는 것 같습니다. 서면에서 먹은 음식 중에 실패한 음식이 없었습니다. 여기는 주문하고 음식이 금방 나와서 기다리지않아서 좋았고 채소나 물회가 신선해서 너무 맛있었습니다. 특히 기본으로 나오는 메밀소면(추가는 주문)과 물회의 조화는 일반 밀가루 소면을 물회에 비벼먹는것 보다 훨씬 괜찮은 식감과 맛을 주는것 같았습니다. 반찬은 소박하지만 물회의 임팩트 그리고 물회 소스의 새콤달콤함이 여름 더위를 잠시 잊혀지게 해주는것 같았습니다. 공깃밥을 따로 주문해 마지막을 공깃밥으로 장식하는...
