Butter Wood — Restaurant in Yangju

I really love this bakery cafe. As you can see from my photos the outside seating area is a large garden with pine trees, grassy areas, winding paths and plenty of romantic places to sit and enjoy nature. The bakery itself has a very pleasant 2nd floor seating area with two balconi over looking the garden at the back and with views of the surrounding hills to the front. The annex is beautifully decorated and has so many cosy places to sit. The bakery serves a variety of savory and sweet breads and cakes and the staff seemed very friendly too. I went on a week day morning so it was very quiet and peaceful but I guess it gets much busier at the weekends and...

일단 양주에 살고 있으면서도 이렇게 예쁜 카페가 있는줄 몰랐었네요. ^^

음식 빵 모두 맛있고 본관 별관 나뉘어 있어서 자리도 넉넉합니다. 무엇보다 건물 뒷쪽으로 산책할 수 있는 길과 넓은 공간이 있어서 날씨만 너무 춥거나 덥지 않으면 아이들과 가기에도 너무 좋았습니다.

자잘하게 개선되어야 할 점을 보자면 일단 아기의자... 저는 데리고 다니는 아이가 어려서 미리 아기의자가 있는지 물어보고 가는 편인데 가보니 아기의자가 너무 크고 무거운거 1개밖에 없더라구요.. 보통 식당에서 쓰는 간단하고 가벼운 아기의자가 본관, 별관, 2층 등에 2~3개씩 놓여있으면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다.

그리고 변관입구에 있는 문이 일부러 닫지 않으면 그냥 열려있는 상태로 있어서 그 근처에 앉은 사람은 요즘같은 날씨에는 왔다갔다하면서 계속 닫아야겠더라구요.
