I don’t understand how there are so many positive reviews and a 4.5-star rating. Considering the price, the food was 1.5/5 at best.

Four of us ordered main dishes: — Tenderloin steak, medium, with vegetables — Tenderloin steak, medium, with vegetables — Their XXL burger, with fries — Another XXL burger, with fries

Burgers: Completely bland — there was nothing else between the buns besides the meat patty?? No sauces, no vegetables — just meat. The meat didn't taste good either, and was somewhat medium or less cooked. Sketchy enough to worry about food poisoning. Fries were okay, but could be way better if some salt was used.

Steaks: Both were ordered medium, but came out rare — to the point we ended up feeding the last bits to the cats. And since they were out of potatoes, the vegetables that we chose with the steaks were extremely oily, with some herb seasoning — somehow still completely bland, lacked of salt.

First time I’ve ever experienced a situation where no one at the table finished their food.

The place looks promising, especially given the location. The terrace has a nice and cozy vibe — but the food… on the expensive side, and still a complete waste of 100€.

P.S.: I rarely leave negative reviews, so there's that. I respect the hustle, but at some point i feel like the review might help others.

It was Sunday evening, 2.5 hours before closing time, so maybe it affected the quality. But they should not serve customers in...

We waited 15 minutes to see if they had 'room' for us, even though the terrace was empty. They finally seated us, but we waited another 15 minutes to get the menus. After another 15 minutes, they came to take only our drink order, not for food.

We waited another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive (even though many were sealed, like juices and water). Only then were we able to place our food order.

After 30 minutes, they came to ask what we had ordered because they forgot. We explained, waited another 30 minutes, and still didn’t receive the food – so we went to ask what was going on, and they had forgotten about the starters. 20 minutes later, the soups arrived, and after another 20 minutes, the main dishes came. The pork ribs tasted like vinegar, and the pork steak was completely uncooked (not rare, but literally uncooked).

We had also ordered coffee, which I haven’t had to this day.

I do not recommend this place at all....

This place was our favorite in Spain, we went two nights in a row and even ordered the same meal (GASP!). The steak is wonderful and cooked perfectly, it comes from local ranches and you can tell. It’s an incredibly reasonable price. €4 for a giant cup of sangria and €24 for a salad, garlic bread (made with garlic from their garden), baked potato with homemade sour cream, and a filet mignon….i mean c’mon!!

Maria was our server and she was so kind and patient with my awful Spanish. She really gave us the hook-up on our dishes. Honestly the vibe was like eating at your favorite...

Amazing place! We were here to eat in the restaurant, by our campervan. And our feeling here was very good! After we ate delicious local food (olives from his garden, olive's oil, fresh organic orange, etc) we asked the owner is possible to sleep here in our camper parked here around between beautyful gardens? He said Yes! We got the power and water, very friendly people! We paid 10 euros only! Amazing place! Delicious food, nice smell from orange garden, mountain around....dream....dream! Muchos gracias Carlos!

Spent a lovely couple of hours at the restaurant. Really well cooked food and very tasty. We sat outside on the terrace, giving us wonderful views, although some tables can be in the full sunshine, so maybe very warm. The prices are extremely good value. We will go back.

If you visit Caminito Del Rey, this restaurant is a must. I enjoyed the best meal I had during my two weeks in Southern Spain. Prices are more than reasonable, the food is fresh and delicious, and the views can't be beat. Eat out on the terrace, you won't regret it.
