First of all, don't take the 4 stars as something negative. The restaurant has changed owners, at the moment they do not serve rice and the dishes that were once made in that restaurant, words of the owner: not being of Spanish origin, but rather of English origin, they do not know how to make the type of rice what is done in that area and surrounding areas, and they have not taken the restaurant to deceive people, which I strongly applaud, to go ahead and say, we are from England and we don't know how to do it, and we prefer not to deceive anyone. There are job offers published to work there, making rice, in case any reader is interested. At the moment they serve a menu of the day, with coffee or dessert for €12, with 3 passes. It was made as they know, in their own way, but everything was delicious, do not expect them to serve the Spanish way, because they are not of Spanish origin, although if they live in Spain for about 20 or 30 years, perhaps in the future and with the people suitable, if they make wood-fired rice...
Read moreThe restaurant has a new owner. They are English and so is the food. Is is tasteless, even the hamburgers and fries are bad. What can go wrong with that? There is nothing freshly made and they forget to put important ingredients, which are on the menu, in the food. The spareribs were boiled. The beer and wine were good and the shrimpcocktail was oke. The lettuce was fresh from a bag. The waitress was not surprised that we didn’t finish the food. She didn’t ask if...
Read moreAbsolute gem of a place. Very rural, in a tiny village but everyone, spanish and English were very welcoming.
Mark and John run a beautiful cafe/bar. Extremely clean. We all, 2 adults and 3 children had a delicious English breakfast. Everything was excellent and really good priced. The amount you actually got was enormous.
My baileys coffee was lovely, and just right. We would recommend this place to everyone.
It is definitely our go-to place when...
