Donde Jona — Restaurant in Adeje

Went to Donde Jona after seeing a couple of reviews. Very pleased that we did. This is a local bar/restaurant, so not filled with tourists. As soon as we entered, Daniel greeted us from behind the bar with a “Hi”. He recognized that we weren’t locals and helped us through the evening. Huge menu with very reasonable prices. €2 for a pint, €2.6 for a barraquito. the Mexican food, sandwiches, burgers and fries are all great. In addition, a 2 minute walk takes you around the school to one of the best sunset viewing points around. Fantastic find if you want to get away from all the same tourist restaurants in Adeje or anywhere...

We had a very nice meal. Donde Jona burger with fries. Sufficient meal size and the fries were fried very well, which I experience is not common on Tenerife. Often the fries are soggy. Both the guys who served us were very friendly. The atmosphere is not very special as it is a covered area. But it is very nice that there is lots of space to park the car. Prices are very good. This place used to be Juan Ramon Garcia...bar/restaurant Since the new owners have taken over business for them is booming. The place is very busy throughout the week with meals being served inside and for takeaway. Drink prices are very good as are the staff and management. So good to have a...
