AREA DE SERVICIOS EL CASERIO — Restaurant in Aguadulce

Looks like it was previously a very large entertainment venue & maybe the owners are trying to revive it. There are Tesla charging points which look quite new. Everywhere clean & tidy & ready for customers except the men's toilets (ladies were ok but several "out of service"). We ordered the menu del dia. The food was OK but not great. The only dessert available was natilla (custard) & it seems like the chef forgot to add any sugar. The staff were very friendly. We were the only customers apart from a couple of people calling in to buy a drink.

I think if the owners want to revive this place they need to serve more spectacular food (vegetables with the meat, more choice of desserts), sort out the toilets, and reduce the price so that they get some 5* reviews and encourage more...

A very large coach stop. We ordered a traditional soup and fish from the "menu del dia". The soup was fine but the fish really stank. They offered to change it but the hunger had gone. We offered to pay for the items we had eaten (coca cola,the soup and flan). The management insisted on charging us three quarters of the cost of the two meals, because I quote "half a menu always costs more than the complete menu." He didn't appear to understand that the issue wasn't about cost it was about customer relations and seriously defective food. Fuimos porque nos lo aconsejaron pero vaya desastre de organización tenían los camareros. Primero ponen que tienen de todo para comer y nos pegamos más de 20 minutos de cola para llegar a pedir y nos dicen que solo bocadillos fríos, que si queremos bocadillos calientes se piden directamente a la mujer que está cobrando. Vamos hasta allí después de los 20 minutos de cola porque había varios autobuses de chavales y nos dice la mujer que está cobrando que hagamos la cola para pedir, le digo que ya la hemos hecho y que nos habían mandado a ella para pedirle bocadillos calientes. Me dice que no me puede atender y que tiene gente. Le digo que nos ha mandado su compañera y dice que no sabe y que no tienen ni menú ni nada, solo bocadillos calientes de pollo y lomo. Que no están haciendo esos dos tipos de bocadillos por la gente que hay. Yo le digo que quiero un serranito y uno de lomo queso pero me dice que no, que sólo tienen que ser esos dos. Todo esto de mientras atendiendo a gente que estaba detrás mía en la cola al principio. Y para colmo cuando sigo esperando a que la mujer me atienda como es debido y me coja la comanda salen dos serranitos y un lomo queso cuando me dijo que no los hacían. Nos fuimos de allí a las 4 de la tarde sin comer después de perder media hora de nuestro viaje. Me parece que no tienen ni idea de donde tienen la mano izquierda, no están preparados para atender con educación a los clientes, y si despidieran a la mitad de la plantilla y pusieran gente con ganas de trabajar no había problema alguno porque la cocina se veía que iban rápido. Lo que está claro que le doy una estrella porque no me deja poner ninguna estrella y que allí no paro ni aunque me esté muriendo de sed o hambre.
