A Culinary Gem by the Water
096 in Alcudia is a true culinary gem, perfectly located right in front of the kitesurfing spot. The restaurant is kid- and family-friendly, with a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome.
If you are coming by car, I recommend parking behind the main road on one of the quieter side streets. The main entrance is at the back and leads you into a beautiful Mediterranean garden. Preferably, stay away from the main road for security reasons – you never know when someone might speed by unexpectedly.
The food experience was outstanding from start to finish. We began with the tuna tartar – fresh, flavourful, and simply amazing! The patatas bravas and chicken tacos were equally delicious, full of vibrant taste and beautifully presented.
I ordered the entrecote, which initially came out well-done instead of medium. However, the staff responded instantly with kindness and professionalism, and the correction was handled so well that I quickly forgot the mix-up.
And the desserts? Just next level. Creative, indulgent, and the perfect way to finish a fantastic meal.
To pair with the food, I can highly recommend the Brut Rosé Masia Salat – an organic cava with great character – or the rosé wine Rosada. You will not be disappointed.
Booking online is very simple, but be prepared to enter your credit card details. A no-show fee applies, which is entirely fair given the restaurant’s popularity and the quality of the offering. There is a lovely terrace upstairs, though we learned it only operates during the weekend days.
We went on a Monday in mid-July and the place was very busy, so I strongly suggest securing your table in advance.
We will definitely be back next year – thank you for an unforgettable...
Read moreIt was 2 months ago + we reserved a table with a request for a water view. When we got there we were indeed 10 min early - the team wasn't ready to serve us - so we sat outside and waited for pickup - No aperitif suggestion from the barman - just sent away. Ok, the team was busy - with whatever - guest apparently bothers them. After 10min wait someone is coming We are shown to the table - restaurant completely empty - there you go - we remark "The table is in the blazing sun" „It doesn't matter the sun is going down soon“ well and the lady from "Service" was gone. The table had no water view because in the backyard. The waiter comes - very friendly chap - we explain the situation to him - he's sorry, he can't do anything. Not enough staff hence ppper terrace with a view of the water is closed. (There was still no other guest there...) We order . The drinks are coming. The white wine is poured into the sun-warmed glasses. The young barman still has to learn something Eating is an experience, the Cevice it is not recommended too coarsely cut pieces and too much acid. Scampi Burger simple but tasty, the fries succeeded wow. Salad with hazelnut & pear tasted good . The pulpo was ok, I found the sauce unimaginative. Altogether never again - too much chchi. for too little service for too much money Les art more substance would be good for the restaurant and some empathy for...
Read moreFirstly what a beautiful venue- Really tastefully and obviously very expensively decorated. Air conditioned and deliciously cool indoor seating with a courtyard at the rear and additional seating out front.
Service was friendly and efficient and provided by a very professional, slick front of house team
Had a paloma to drink which was fantastic- best cocktail I found during our visit.
We ate-
Shrimp & Roasted Chillis- Fantastic plate of food- sweet raw prawns with a very well balanced range of garnishes and sauces
Tacos Dorados- Crispy taco shells filled with shredded chicken and served with crema/ salsa verde- very good
Tacos Canasta- Slow cooked pork with beans and salsa- again very good
Bravas- certainly the most imaginative and beautiful serving of this dish you are likely to come across. Potatoes turned into a terrine , sliced finely and then deep fried, then garnished with delicately placed aioli and brava sauces. DELICIOUS
Chicken pallarda with Oaxacan Mole- Flavour bomb- The mole sauce was outrageously good, balanced really well with the mango and avocado on the plate. The chicken was the least interesting bit- would have been better with thigh, but a really well balanced plate
Overall we would enthusiastically recommend- price point was vey reasonable, food great, service great and a really...
