We had an excellent meal here and the best steak we've had in Europe.

Being an American and Brazilian couple, we're a bit picky about our beef, and unfortunately just haven't been satiated with the beef we've had since living on the Peninsula for the last two years. El Campanero rectified that. We started with the Tomate Raf con Melva de almadraba y Anchoas del Cantábrico - the tomatoes were great. For a main, we split the Chuletón Vaca Rubia Gallega; absolutely amazing!

Was the steak expensive? Yes. Was is a 1.5 kilo, 100-day aged cut? Yes. Well worth it!

One year later - back again. As expected, everything...

Andalucía, the co-owner, honors her name with a philosophy of quality and service. We had a few dishes to share as starters (empanada, croquetas, …) and then went for the main course with different types of meats (suckling pig, lamb) and rices. All dishes were just outstanding. Game products are tasty and subtle. They use spices to tame the strong taste of game. But the meats, cooked in the wood-fired oven, were just outstanding - out of this world. A nice discovery with attentive service. Thanks Manuel and Andalucía for your...

Our meal was fantastic! We started with some Chicharrones which we more incredible. Then we had some empanadas de jabalí which we’re stuffed full of meat with little pastry. And then our mains, chuletón de vaca retinto and a solomillo which were 10/10! The staff were fantastic with us, very attentive! The place is very traditional and super clean; they also use a lot of produce from the local area! We are definitely going to come again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
