🌟 La Revelia – A Perfect Dining Experience (5/5) 🌟
My husband and I had dinner at La Revelia in Amorebieta on February 14th, and I can confidently say it was a 5-star experience from start to finish.
✔️ Ambiance & Atmosphere – The dining room is beautifully modern and crisp, yet warm and inviting. The lighting creates a wonderful ambiance, and the open view of the kitchen adds a touch of elegance—it almost feels like watching a culinary lab in action.
✔️ Table Setting & Details – Every detail, from the tableware to the glasses and utensils, feels luxurious and carefully selected. It adds to the sense of refinement without being overwhelming.
✔️ Service – The staff strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. Service is impeccable yet relaxed, making you feel both well taken care of and at ease.
✔️ The Food – The True Highlight! – We opted for the long tasting menu (12 courses), which meant we didn’t have to think, just enjoy. And what an experience! Every single dish was a masterpiece. Each bite was perfectly crafted, delicious, and left us wanting more. Absolutely in love!
✔️ Price & Value – Simply Unbelievable! – The price is way more than fair, much lower than what you’d expect for such a top-tier experience. The quality-price ratio is simply exceptional—this place could easily charge much more, and it would still be worth it.
✨ Final Thought: As I write this, I find myself wishing I could go back right now! La Revelia is truly TOP in every way—an unforgettable experience at an incredible price. If you love great food, this is a must-visit. Highly...
Read moreThe restaurant at La Revelia and the hotel were the highlight of our family's 3 week trip through Portugal and Spain. Walking the part of the El Camino Del Norte from San Sebastian to Bilbao, we decided to take a slight detour to La Revelia. What a great decision! We were met by the owner and chef who showed us to our rooms that are above the restaurant. The rooms were spacious and modern with a deck that overlooked the beautiful forest surrounding the property. From there, we had a late lunch in the spectacular restaurant. Everything (and I mean everything) was superb. The night before, we took a cab to a fancy 3 star Michelin restaurant to experience what we thought would be the highlight of our trip. It was a total let down, but La Revelia was the exact opposite. As the restaurant closed, we bought a bottle of wine to take to the room (note, their wine prices appear to be only about 15% or so above retail) and then went to enjoy their sauna and pool experience. You book the sauna and pool just for your family and when you arrive, there was a tray containing tea and some fun snacks. That night, the owner messaged us to ask if we would like breakfast in the morning. After the lunch we had, we said absolutely. It was a wonderful breakfast filled with smoked salmon, iberico ham, cheeses, fresh fruits, and eggs. What a way to start off on our final 20 kilometers to Bilbao! If you have a chance to visit La...
Read moreThis restaurant and the beautiful room is the highlight of our Camino de Santiago experience. We were the only guests in this 4 room boutique hotel and as such were treated like honored guests. Chef Fernando prepared a special delectable dinner for us paired with an excellent bottle of local wine Txacoli. The breakfast was outstanding and healthy. The accommodations are fabulous. I took advantage of everything, the sauna, the tea and snack, the Pool, and the soaking tub. What a way to cover from my 15 mile hike! I will always treasure this...
