The restaurant attached to a campground promised a good culinary experience despite its higher price level, which was confirmed by the food itself. The quality of the food was really good, and we did have a pleasant experience in that regard. Unfortunately, this was greatly overshadowed by the service. Our waiter spoke only Spanish, which was surprising and impractical in a tourist area. Additionally, there was no drink menu, and we had to guess what beverages were available. The wait times were extremely long and the outdoor seating offered no protection from the wind, which resulted in our food being cold before we could eat it. Read moreAs a rule avoid going to restaurants close to their closing time, but know that if you go to this restaurant and the servers don't feel like serving you they'll give you a standard BS answer "We're fully reserved" even though the restaurant is in the middle of nowhere and there are plenty tables empty. Even when i asked if i could wait by the pool while they emptied their tables the answer was the pool is for those that eat, it's ridiculous but that's this restaurant for you. I would recommend talking to a manager directly or avoid the inconvenience all together.
