A fantastic place to enjoy freshly prepared tasty rural Spanish food. Sit outside and be part of the village, watch the buzz of work time or the slowness of sleepy times. Escape the heat in the friendly air conditioned bar/restaurant, ask for a glass of iced gazpacho, the bowls are enormous, with bread and the local oil, pressed just down the street, every time I go I'm delighted with the food and the value for money. Local bar in Arenas with a sun covered terras. Located in the middle of the village on main street. If anything passes Arenas, you will notice. Very good atmosphere as the locals come here and drink their beer. Only Spanish spoken except for one lady waitress, but they get you what you want. It is a very nice place to catch your breath after a long walk through the surrounded mountains or the steep roads of Arenas.
