El farero NO ESTA — Restaurant in Arico

This was the first restaurant I ate at when I arrived in Tenerife, having the accommodation very close to it. The food was very good, the service was also very prompt. We enjoyed eating at their place, the prices were acceptable, we ate on the island the other day even cheaper and better, but will highly recommend trying the food here. We ate an octopus salad, it was very good, but a little bit of octopus in the salad. This is the only restaurant in El Porís where the food is made by competent staff. Menu is on the card and the black board. We have tried 6 different dishes over three days and they were all good. The best fish was bocinegro and best meat cerdo salteado. House white or red wines come in ½ l bottles and both good and cheap. Open most days 13 to 21 so dont come very late for dinner. Precios descarados Anoche fuimos por casualidad,al entrar notamos q es un bar más q un restaurante,eran las 9.30 de la noche y vamos con dos niños por eso decidimos quedarnos,cenar lo q sea y seguir !! Nuestra sorpresa llega con la carta,los precios son bastante elevados y mucho más para la calidad q ofrecen, pedimos: Milanesa de pollo( 1 filete super fino cortado en 3 con un puño de patatas fritas) 12.90 Ensaladilla de pulpo( literalmente ensaladilla tipo Mercadona con unas lascas de pulpo congelado por encima) 12.90 Fish and chip( 6 cuadrados ( 1 tajada) de bacalao y un montón de papas fritas) 15.90 Unos precios auténticamente salvajad para estar en una playa de caravanas y camping.
