Restaurante El Cobijo.

We happen to take a detour one day and marked the spot for this 'remote' restaurant. Upon returning one day, we found this family oriented restaurant to be quite delightful- with stunning views from the terrace AND of the terrace, great play area for the kids (safely secured), and good food and good price. If you happen to stumble upon on the weekends and in the right season, you will enjoy 80-90's music (DJ) while sipping on great house red wine while chair dancing as we did.

Now for the food. Thoroughly enjoyed their stuffed pimiento with cod and their large stuffed mushrooms with meat. Their House salad was filled with creamy avocadoes from the garden and so was their prawn cocktail. Good size filet mignon was cooked to perfection like the wild mushrooms but chicken escalope was just that.

Desserts are nice and so are their barriquito... Overall, this was a...

El Cobijo Offers Fantastic Panoramic Views of South Tenerife While Giving a Modern Twist on Some Classic Canarian Dishes.

El Cobijo restaurant is on the winding road at the back of Montana (Mountain) Fria between La Camella and Arona. But once you arrive, you will truly fall in love with the panoramic views, lovely avocado garden while bringing a modern twist on some classic Canarian dishes.

With the arrival of a new chef at El Cobijo, the previous menu items are being transformed little by little. As a result, not only are the dishes more easy on the eye, but the new flavours he is creating must put this restaurant on your ‘NOT TO BE MISSED’ list. We look forward to seeing more changes to...

We recently dined at El Cobijo in Adeje, and it was an experience to remember. The signature meat and the Chateaubriand were exceptional, perfectly cooked to our liking and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, making it one of the best meals we’ve had in Tenerife. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed evening. The service was attentive without being overbearing, adding to the overall delightful experience. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, El Cobijo is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and a lovely dining experience. We will definitely be returning!
