Casa Brito — Restaurant in Arucas

I tried Casa Brito on a Saturday for lunch and I was pleasantly happy with the overall service and food. We were a couple and we had the following items from the menu:

1 Rulo de queso de cabra con cebolla, cream de mango y nueces caramelizada. Highly suggested, good portion and combination!

2 Croquetones con serrano Very good quality and cooking point

2 Vaca RUBIA gallega Lomo alto. The quality of the meat was good but I sincerely think that it wasn't 39€ good for a steak. The cut was around 330-350g, mine was almost all meat while the second one was half fat. Of course I understand fat is good for flavour but my fiancé really ate much less for the same 39€ of her plate. Especially comparing the meat quality, flavor and cut to other restaurants in Las Palmas I can't see much value in the price paid.

-1 Tarta de chocolate blanco, frambuesa y dulce de leche Way too sweet, still pleasant but the portion was very big.

I have to say the the service was very quick and efficient, we never had to wait for anything and they answered every question properly. I wonder if it's worth taking your car and going to a street on the mountains near Arucas for having this lunch. Maybe if I had another meat cut it would have been better, but after all I came for the meat and I was willing to spend more for something great that wasn't like I expected for the price.

Authentic interior, in one room around the charcoal grill which you cannot smell at all in the restaurant. You can watch your meal being grilled, which is a nice touch. The wine selection is huge and can be browsed on a tablet PC. Everything we ordered was delicious. The steaks were however huge, so if you don't come here with huge (really huge) appetite, pace yourself on the starters, which have been delicious as well. ( Reseñada editada, de 5 * iniciales) Puedo entender que un mal día lo tenga cualquiera, pero cuando no es uno sino que hay una cierta rima y los precios crean unas expectativas que no se cumplen. En primer lugar la comida sigue con su buen nivel de calidad y exquisitez . Ahora sí, hablaré de lo que ha ido desmejorando. 1- Retirar los platos cuando hay aún un comensal comiendo, en alguna ocasión se han ido a llevar el plato con comida que queríamos seguir disfrutando. 2- En tres ocasiones seguidas a el vino no le trajeron una cubitera, que si tuvieran el aire acondicionado como debería no haría tanta falta, pero últimamente hace calorcito dentro de la sala, me imagino que también es porque han puesto alguna mesa de más. 3- También se ha repetido el hecho de que siendo cuatro comensales, se le traiga el segundo plato a dos de ellos sin los acompañamientos y un rato más tarde al tercero y otro rato más para el cuarto y acompañamientos. 4- Las veces que se he ido en ese primer turno que ha querido quedarse desde la pandemia, les falta darte un empujoncito en la espalda para que dejes libre la mesa, de un bar/restaurante de 20€ el cubierto no me sorprendería, aquí por 70€ cubierto espero otra cosa.
