Michellin star Restaurant in Bakio Spain. Tried to go the eveningvwe areived however it was closed by tge time we got there. In our way out of town we stopped for lunch . It was just opening when we got there at 1 p m Its a cozy little restaurant which is in a old brewery . The food was all freshly prepared and presented beautifully, and had delicate flavors. The service although there was only one waiter was really attentive and informative. Loved tge ambiance and hospitality of this genuinely nicely run family restaurant.Great...

Excellent staff (there was language barrier, but he tried the best he could - ended up translating the whole menu for us). The food, we ordered set menu (€32+/person) reconstructed traditional Basque dishes with a twist. Great size portion with desert as well, we also ordered local wine, €20 white and a bottle of water. The bill ended up €90 which was decent for a Michelin star restaurant. (Entree - Stuffed peppers and cod for main** highly...

2024 ko abuztuan egon gara familiarekin bazkaltzen, 2 heldu eta 2 ume.Leku ederra da. Baina agerian geratu da erabat zerbitzari eskasia. Heldu eta etorri arte zerbitzaria galdetzeko ia zer nahi genuen 20 minutu pasa dira. Lehengo plater bezela, helduentzat sardina lasaña eskatu genuen (sardina gutxi, beraiek jarritako argazkiakin alderatuz) eta umeentzat kroketak eskatu genituen (komenta genion zerbitzariari aldi berean ekartzeko platerrak, umeak kroketak soilik jango zituztelako). Lehengo lasana ekarri eta gero itxaron eta itxaron...areeta deitu genion arte zerbitzariari. Ba sartu ginenetik, kroketak ekarri arte, 50 minutu pasa ziren, hau da, umeak 50 mintu egon ziren mahaian eserita beraien lehenengo platerra heldu arte. Barkamena eskatu zigun zerbiztariak, birritan, lehengo 20 minutuak itxoiteagatik eta geroago 50 minutuak. Gero txuleta goxoa, eta postreak, torrija goxoa, txokolate fluidoa oso enpalagosoa, fruitu krema bategaz. Idiazabal gazta krema, goxoa bai, baia ez zeukan zapore konkreturik, krema batena soilik. Gero ordaintzerakoan arazoak izan zituzten datafonoan, eta beraien konponbidea izan zan: joan zaitez herrira, dirua atera eta etorri. Horrela, 40 graduko tenperaturarekin, paseoak emoteko ez geunden 2 ume txikikin. Azkenean tranferentzia bitartez konpondu genuen. Detaile zero...

What an amazing restaurant and food!!! We visited Nov 2019 and were blown away by the setting and plants all over. The restaurant is in an old mill and has all sorts of interesting tools inside. It is as much of a museum as it is a restaurant. Amazing food, we had some lamb and fish, out of this world!!! We loved it, if you're an American and in the area go here, you won't be dissapointed!!!
