We happened to stumble upon this place completely by accident in our roadtrip (GPS). They were already closing but the owner was super nice and stayed to cook just for us.
The food was amazing, every single dish they served us. The octupus was one of the best ones I have ever tried, the slow cooked pork was super tender, and the salad with the mussels and scallops was something very unique and out of this world. The potato and choriI dish was good but standard, as well as the chocolate cake. The other desert combined azing flavor of white chocolate, mojito ice cream with seaweed and fewore things I can't even remember. They also made the "tinto de verano" from scratch and it was super good!
Service was one of the highlights of this place. The owner/chef treated us directly, they switched plates/silverwear a few time, the order of the dish serving was perfect and personal very kind.
The place is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere and has a very nice vibe, beautiful rural design and all very tidy and clean.
Value for money - 10/10.

After walking almost 7 hours during our Camino, my mother and I decided to treat ourselves and have a nice lunch. We stumbled upon this place while walking to Baamonde and are so happy we did.
We were greeted by the chef who was very friendly and excited we decided to stop by! While he didn’t speak much English (and we couldn’t speak much Spanish) he helped us with the menu and made some great recommendations. The food was delicious and so beautifully plated. Dessert was amazing too!
While this might not be a restaurant most pilgrims stop at during their walk, it was one of the highlights of mine and would recommend everyone stop...

Nada más entrar puedes apreciar la mezcla de olores que resaltan y amplían tus sentidos, logrando que tus papilas gustativas se pongan nerviosas por las ganas de probar cada uno de ellos, es algo que no esperaba pero dibujo una sonrisa en mi rostro.
El ambiente de este restaurante es lo esperado muy agradable, atrayente y acogedor, trato familiar, con una buena cocina que cuida cada detalle en cada una de sus comandas.
La atención recibida es insuperable, totalmente inmejorable, he de decir que me sentí muy satisfecha con las recomendaciones, con la presentación y con el sabor de cada uno de los platos.
El vino todo un acierto, no podríamos haberlo elegido mejor, agradezco dicha alternativa que dejamos a su elección.
Cuando llego el primer plato me encantó poder mojar el pan, que es un incidió que me encanta lo que consumo. Ambos platos principales no tienen ni una sola pega, nos gustó,buen punto de cocción, bien condimentado, buena temperatura del plato y textura (crujiente por fuera pero se derretía en la boca); totalmente excepcional, hubo un momento que sentí un sabor muy familiar que me hizo recordar cuando mi abuela, ponía el plato sobre la mesa y esperaba ver mi carita de felicidad. Me lo guarde para mí en ese momento pero creo que es importante transmitirlo porque se merecen saber lo que he disfrutado de su gastronomía excepcional.
El postre que para mí siempre es lo más importante porque si la comida ha sido buena, pero el postre ha sido mediocre olvidas lo que has comido.
Debo decir que este no es el caso , si el entrante y los primeros platos fueron exquisitos el postre fue espectacular. Milhoja de chocolate blanco con pimentón picante y helado de mojito, es una mezcla de sabores y permitirme decir de cultura, simplemente magnífico.
SONREÍ MUCHÍSIMO PORQUE ESTABA DELICIOSO, NO ME HA DEFRAUDADO, OBVIAMENTE REPETIRÉ.
