As I live very near to Baboo I often pop in for a coffee. Recently I have on two occasions eaten the "menu of the day" which is very reasonably priced, 3 courses and a drink. The portions were not huge but I left feeling sated but not stuffed. The food was pleasantly very different to what you usually find with a menu of the day. Terrible service by grumpy unprofesional waitresses, very long waiting time up to 1h15 between first and mains, and the second first course was forgotten, finally we got it a together with the second course which we asked to take away until we were ready for it. Then when it arrived it was cold. Dissapointing overall. This was acknowledged and we did not have to pay for one first course. Wrote to the manager suggesting staff needs more training in customer service but never got an acknowledgement. Hence...

Pues una maravilla TODO, maravilla la gente de alrededor que no gritan, maravilla su terraza , si vas en luna llena te mueres del impacto...La cocina de primera, las mejores croquetas del puchero con yerbabuena que he comido nunca y he comido muchas! El atún, las bebidas, la ensaladilla, berenjenas fritas con salsa romesco...comimos dos personas todo entradas para probar cositas, y una cosa era mejor que otra. El postre no recuerdo el nombre, pero una delicia, pongo fotos. Hay muy pocos restaurantes así en la costa, es un cansancio el pescado y el boqueron, y el pescado....si hay 3.000 restaurantes el 90% tienen la misma carta y de ellos el 70% no tienen verdaderos profesionales, se nota. Por ello cuando encuentro algo de verdad valioso me esmero en explicarlo. Una pena que el ritmo de trabajo no me haya dejado ir más, pero lo tengo pendiente y ya lo he referenciado a amigos y conocidos. Y después algo que la hostelería de la costa no entiende como imprescindible hoy día...EL APARCAMIENTO, llegar con tu coche a cenar o comer si dar mil vueltas que cuando vuelves ya no tienen ni hambre. Aquí aparcas y bien cómodo en la explanada que tienen habilitada. Su camarera encantadora y el propietario a lo que hay que estar, a trabajar bien y no soltar el plato en la mesa...sino "atender" bien...
