El Canguro Truchero — Restaurant in Bielsa

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been. The location is fantastic, with spectacular views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains. The service is excellent and very calmed and attentive. The food is tasty and good portions at affordable prices. Their specialty is a fusion of Thai/Spanish styles. The venue is extremely cozy with just a few tables and a fireplace which creates a perfect atmosphere. Definitely I would recommend it. We were a party of five including a todler and they accomodated the table for the little child despite the small place allocated. The waitresses are very friendly and will recommend you the best...

We have been to this restaurant a few times in the past and were eally looking forward to this visit.

It wasn't great. The one waitress was extremely rude as she didnt take pur order down correctly and delivered the wrong food saying this was what we had ordered. That said food eventually ended up on a table opposite us. There was no apology for the mistake, they happen its ok. The other waitress came to check what we ordered - one dish arrived and then the second dish came almost as the other person had finished.

Visita casi obligada tras leer las buenas críticas, lástima que no se hayan cumplido en nuestro caso. Para empezar nos apetecía probar el esturión, pescado que nos gusta mucho y que se cría en aguas del Cinca cerca de El Grado, por desgracia ya no lo sirven aunque lo publicitan en varios medios e incluso está en la carta y en un gran cartel en el exterior. La opción de la trucha hoy tampoco era válida, antes de las 2 ya no había ¿?... de pescado solo estaban las croquetas de chipirón en su tinta y eso elegimos, por cierto, muy buenas. También elegimos la hamburguesa cabrita con queso de cabra y mermelada de arándanos, muy buena especialmente la carne pero a la que en mi opinión sobra la cebolla cruda, mejor pochada o caramelizada aunque reconozco que eso va a gustos. Lo peor sin duda es el error que han cometido al servir los platos con un importante desfase entre los comensales, error del que se han disculpado. Del resto de la carta no puedo opinar mucha carne y ensaladas todo a precio de capital en un local más bucólico como cabaña en el bosque o terraza al aire libre que como restaurante. Por descontado lo mejor el entorno maravilloso del valle de Pineta y sus alrededores. Para disfrutar de una buena comida... hay lugares mejores,...
