I don’t normally provide reviews online, but I’m making an exception here. I was part of the party with Emma V (see her review), and I take exception with the untruthful reply from the venue to her two-star review. I would not wish others to read and rely on the replies of the host without signalling the destruction of my trust in this venues replies, to her accurate review. When we were seated, it was in the second of two large outdoor areas and most of that section was empty. It could easily accommodate another 20-25 people after us. The venue therefore did not “make a space for us”. It already existed! They did push two or three tables together - but this was also done for others subsequently. Secondly the young waiter did indeed drop the juice drink from above and behind the 4-year old. It was impossible for the child to have intentionally or otherwise hit the waiter. Accidents will happen and I don’t blame the waiter for this, but rather than dealing with the situation the waiter simply disappeared and left us to clean up. It took a good amount of time for him to return before we could actually place an order and then receive our food. The food was tasty but the whole experience is not one I would care to repeat. Having recently arrived in Borriana we were hungry and needed to eat. Otherwise we would have left. If reading these reviews with a view to making a decision, I recommend sticking to the customer...
Read moreA very weird experience here. When we first arrived we were told it was too full (even though one terrace was totally empty) then they said we could sit there, but it wasn’t normally for food (???) even though other families also sat there for dinner. Then while the server was bringing our drinks he accidentally dropped the tray full of glasses and drinks and a bottle of juice fell all over my 4 year old and the table. No problem, accidents happen. However, he carried on serving the drinks as though it hadn’t happened (??!!) and then walked off and NEVER RETURNED. We had to use our own napkins and tissues from our bags to mop up the child, table and dishes. After 20 mins of waiting we asked if we could get a replacement juice from another server, which we did not get. We all ordered burgers in the end, which were nice but very expensive. For five sodas, two juices (including the one that was dropped), five burgers (which came with literally 4-5 small potato wedges each), and two kids meals it was €100. Just based on how tense and uncomfortable the entire experience was, we would not eat there again. From the second we arrived it was obvious they did not want to seat us, and the entire dinner service I don’t think anyone working in the place cracked a...
