Tourists beware, El Puertito is absolutely not interested in having you as a customer. Unfriendly staff will leave the best tables for their usual customers. They'll have all the windows wide open, without asking if you mind the cold breeze. They'll try to take away your plate even if you're not finished, making you feel quite unwellcome. We had quite a selection of dishes and were not disappointed on the contrary. Chipirones, (fried small octopuses), insalata mixta, calamares fritas, queso asado and of course papas arrugadas with mojo verde. As a starter we had Canarian white bread with a herbal/garlic induced relish as a side. It is those places you need to find where the locals go, for some good, honest food. Around 45 minutes to get seated and served. Some people were seated before us and served even though we had a reserve.

We got sit and our drinks were removed mid way, because the waitress misunderstood us (we got served free drinks) and the food arrived 20 minutes later.

The Lapas were way too acid (because the mojo I guess) so was the gofio escaldado. Paella was obviously preheated.
